A course of 3 lessons, each 4 hours long, Monday to Friday. Aimed at anyone who wants to easily find a job in a gelateria by learning the techniques and manual skills for selling gelato and learning the skills for proper sales management.

PROGRAMME

  • Rules of conduct and hygiene in the point of sale
  • Training and correct information on problems related to intolerances and allergens
  • Acquiring practical skills for proper sales offer managment
  • Exercise in the production of products for sale (cone trays, cups,etc.)
  • Improving customer relations and handling critical issues.
  • The course takes place at the Artico school, where each paricipant will have workstations showing how things really work in a gelateria

  • Total Cost of the course: €400 + VAT
  • Down Payment: € 100 +VAT on registration
  • Balance: €300 + VAT at the beginning of the course

LAURA POLONI: our chef

In 1980 she began his adventure in the world of gelato and together with her father-in-law, in turn a master gelato maker, she took over a place in Novate Milanese which is still home to the historic family gelateria. At the same time she managed a gelateria in Cormano for over five years and in 2012 with a group of friends and partners she created Artico, where she initially took care of production directly, while today she leads the production staff and follows the technical and evolutionary research of gelato.
