Artico was founded in 2012 from the meeting between entrepreneur Giuseppe Fioretti and master gelato maker Maurizio Poloni. The first store, located in the Isola district of Milan, quickly became a landmark for those seeking authentic gelato made with carefully selected ingredients and no compromises. Over the years, the brand has grown thanks to the work of the Fioretti–Poloni family, becoming today a recognized international reality. The Gelato School — the true beating heart of Artico — leads research, experimentation, and the training of new generations of gelato makers.
2012

The first Artico store opens in the Isola district.

2016

The Gelato School is founded, the beating heart of all the Group’s activities.

2017

The second Artico store opens in Duomo, expanding the brand to an international audience.

2021

The store opens in Città Studi, now a reference point for students of the Politecnico.

 

2023

Gelato Top Milano is founded, dedicated to the distribution of high-quality products for gelato shops.

2024

Renovation of the Città Studi store and opening of the fourth Artico store in Via Solari.
